We’re are feeling seriously honored right now. Why? Because we were selected by über-hot South Park restaurant Buona Forchetta for their first brewery pairing dinner THIS THURSDAY, AUGUST 29th. 

Since opening in January, Buona Forchetta has been making serious waves with their Neapolitan-style pizza and fresh pastas. They’re currently sitting atop the San Diego Eater Heat Map, and the often-lengthy wait to get a table tells you why.

To have a restaurant like Buona Forcetta select us for a pairing dinner—just two months into selling beer—is remarkable. We’re so frickin' thrilled.


• Imported Italian artichoke hearts sautéed with garlic and herbs.  Paired with Lomaland Saison.
• Michelle pizza - crème fraiche, speck, caramelized onion, gorgonzola, thyme. Paired with Fortunate Islands Hoppy Wheat.
• Homemade fettuccine pasta sautéed with steamed potato and string beans in a pesto sauce. Paired with Blazing World Amber IPA.
• Tiramisu.  Paired with Black House Oatmeal Coffee Stout

Matteo Cattaneo of Buona Forchetta and Derek Freese of Modern Times Beer will be on hand to talk about each course and the pairing. The 4-course dinner is $60, which includes food, beer, tax, and tip.
